What's Production Like?

I was glad the cold had gone.
It was freezing when we were outside in the cold and dark night but when we were on the stairs heading up it was like magic.
I felt nervous like a bunny running away from a predator!
But I knew there was an audience so I kept calm and smiled.
When I was on the stage I was sweating. It was too hot!
The music sweeped around me like mist.
Me and the other girls swished our skirts while the BOYS did the
FLOSS!
I think the fun part was the circle.
Everyone was going around smiling and everyone enjoyed it.
When our item was finished Dr Who, Hayley Hay and the twins mother
found the twins!
One of the twins said “Let’s sing with one last song!”
It was “We Are The World.”
The audience was clapping along and cheering.
We bowed and walked along the aisle still feeling warm but
then it happened. AGAIN. I turned cold! Ultra cold!
I ran back to class carefully not to ruin the skirt.
The girls and I walked quickly to the bathroom to
get into the middle cubicle. Wow!
Everyone was hustling about getting undressed and when  the door
opened we said “Shut the door!”. It was really funny!
When I finished getting changed in my normal clothes I went to
look for my Mum or my Dad.
They signed me out and we went home.
One night I went in the stroller instead of my brother. My dad said
“ If I pushed can you get out and I hop in and can I get pushed?”
Obviously I said NO!
When I hopped into my bed then my Mum asked me
“What’s production like?”
I said “ It’s good to be able to dance and communicate with other
people like your partner and also I like to be able to stay up late!”

Me dancing to the beat!

So this is what production is like.

Adventure Into Dancing!

On Monday the 31st of July I went to Jolt. Jolt is a dance group that goes around schools. It was really fun to see so many smiles and happiness in the air. It was really an adventure and it looked like the Jolt people enjoyed it.

This is a picture of me and my friends doing a fun activity.

I hope you like dancing as much as I do.

Visual Maths

My class, Room 15 and Room 16 do maths together. We are working on graphs. I have learnt that a graph can be about anything but it has to be appropriate. Me and my buddy Zoe (We have the same name!) did it about colours. I really enjoyed it and I think you would too!

Have you ever made a graph?

Art Gallery and Museum.

On the 13th of June me and my class went to the art gallery. We all learned about ancient Maori and about some paintings that showed illusions.

My favourite art piece was one from "Gordon Walters". He said that it was not supposed to be korus but an illusion. When we got back to the class at the gallery we made a waka huia. A waka huia is where a chief keeps his feathers. He does not put it on the ground but hangs it up from the rafters.  The museum was pretty close to the gallery so we walked.(It was pretty tiring)

We were a bit early when we got there so we sat down inside and waited for our instructor to come. When our instructor came he told us his name and told us what we were going to do. His name was Anthony and we were learning about solar energy.

He took us to a room that had loads of space equipment. It had a machine that tells you how ma

We are all tired and exhausted from the Journey.

When was your first time you went on Camp?  It was my first time. The best part was the zip line. Here is me climbing up to get on. It was super duper scary!
